Chinese New Year Celebration In Manchester

Manchester's famous Chinese New Year celebrations are taking place on Sunday 10 February, there is no better way to get into the city than by bus.

The Witchway and Red Express run fast into the city centre from Burnley, Accrington and Ramsbottom, the buses run hourly on Red Express and every half an hour on Witchway.

The celebrations are a great sight to see and will be packed with people, save the hassle and ditch the car in favour of the bus, a group of up to 5 adults can travel for Just £19 with our daytripper group ticket, buy it from the driver or on our “Transdev Go” app.

The parade will be travelling through the city centre so we wont be able to stop along John Dalton Street or Princess Street. Heading out of the city, buses will use their normal routes, but there's likely to be a lot of traffic around the city centre.
