Make the most of your summer bank holiday

It's the late summer bank holiday on Monday 28 August.

If you're looking for some inspiration for things to see and do, we've got some champion ideas for places to go - and you can get to them all by bus.

Ride to Pride

Manchester Pride's 'Big Weekend' returns to the city over the bank holiday weekend, and tens of thousands of people are expected to line the streets for the parade and festivities. Confirmed acts on stage over the weekend are Clean Bandit, Melanie C, Example, Faithless and many, many more! Get there and safely back home again on Red Express and the Witchway, with buses all the way up until 3am on Saturday nights on the Witchway.

Shop until you drop

We're lucky to have some of the best shopping destinations in the country right on our doorstep. The Mall shopping experience is right next door to the bus station in Blackburn - so you can shop until you drop, and let us take you home afterwards.

Champion fares to get you there

Not only is the bus the easiest way to travel, it's the cheapest, too.

Two can travel together into Manchester on the Witchway and red express for just £15 return. Simply ask your driver for a 'two together' ticket and let us do the driving. What's more, you'll find buses all the way until 3am on Saturday nights on the Witchway, so you can really make the most of your weekend.

Don't forget, all of our buses on bank holiday Monday will be running to Sunday times.

We'd love to know what you're up to this weekend. Follow and tweet us @blackburnbusco and @burnleybuses.
