We're making Mainline - and we need your help!24-04-2017
Your latest £4.5million fleet of brand new, tailor-made buses for Burnley and Pendle are now being built, and we can't wait to introduce them to Mainline. This will be our biggest ever investment in new buses ever in Lancashire.
We want our buses to be all about you – which is why we need you to help us give them the personal touch!
Be the voice of Mainline
Your new buses will feature announcements to let everybody know the next stop, with an advanced audio and visual system inside.
We need a voice to record the announcements for each of our stops – and who better than someone amazing from within the Burnley and Pendle community?
Entering our competition couldn't be easier - simply upload your 30 second audition video to YouTube, telling us why you should be the voice of Mainline - be as creative as you possible! Email the link to your video to firstname.lastname@example.org - and you could be the next voice of Mainline!
Alternatively, you can post your video on Facebook or Twitter - simply use the hashtag #MakeMyMainline.
Make sure you post your audition video no later than Monday 15 May 2017.
Make Mainline your work of art
Your new buses have some great spaces inside where we want to show how creative the people of Burnley and Pendle really are.
We are after some fantastic artwork that can be to do with the local area, our people, our buses, or perhaps something else – the only restrictions are that it must relate to the area we serve, or our company in general.
We think it's important that this art can represent any age, and any standard - so there's no excuse not to take part!
Your artwork will feature on the rear panel behind the back row of seats inside, and each of our buses will have a bespoke piece - created by you.
Here's a quick summary of the rules for the competition:
- Your artwork needs to be orientated landscape (the actual size doesn't matter, as we'll resize it for you)
- It needs to relate to the area we serve, or our company more generally
- It should feature our new colours for Mainline: orange and/or maroon
- You'll need to tell us your name and age
- Your art will be passed to our design team to transfer on to the bus
- If your design is featured, you'll get a free monthly pass to ride on Mainline!
Simply send your designs by email to email@example.com or upload your work to Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #MakeMyMainline by Monday 15 May 2017 - and you could see your very own artwork on Mainline!
