It’s better, it’s brighter - the Red Express arrives from 3 April

11-03-2016

We're bringing you a better, brighter X41 from 3 April.

Many of you love the X41 as the quick motorway link from Blackburn, Accrington, Haslingden and Manchester, but we're now making it even better!

First of all – there will be a revised, simplified timetable. Many times will stay the same, but there will be a few tweaks to improve punctuality and all buses will now run between Blackburn, Accrington and Manchester. This means that rush hour buses between Great Harwood and Accrington will no longer run (through tickets are available to change from the 6/7 at Accrington, so all is not lost for the few customers that used these journeys!) – these buses will run to/from Blackburn instead.

The big news though is the amazing buses we are bringing you. These high-spec twin-deck buses feature red, coach leather seats as standard, with lots of room to spread out and make yourself comfortable. There is free Wifi on board as well as USB charging points at every seat – so you can stay connected during your journey, and that's a much better use of your time than bring stuck in your car!

These buses are decked in red and blue, in our new Red Express brand, so you won't be able to miss them!

And, of course, it's still all brought to you by us nice people at Transdev Lancashire United – home of some of the best drivers around, so you can be sure you'll be well looked after.

See you soon on the Red Express – your best & brightest way into the big city.
