The Lancashire Way

The Lancashire Way is the name for the inter urban services X41 between Blackburn, Hyndburn and Manchester; and 152 between Burnley, Blackburn and Preston.

The X41 runs from Blackburn via Accrington, Baxenden, Haslingden, Helmshore and Prestwich right to the heart of Manchester. The 152 takes you from Burnley bus station via Padiham, Clayton le Moors, and Rishton to Blackburn bus station, before continuing via Feniscowles and Higher Walton into Preston.

The fleet carries the bright yellow and blue colours with a distinctive Lancashire red rose of their sister Lancashire United services. Vehicles are easily accessible with low floor step-free entrances and space for wheelchairs and buggies, and most are fitted with free wifi - look for the sticker in the front windscreen to see if your bus offers the service.
