Running up to every 6 minutes during Monday to Friday daytimes, the services follow a route through the heart of Oswaldtwistle along Thwaites Road and Windsor Road.

Burnley Christmas lights switch on | Sunday 23rd November 2013

The Burnley Christmas lights switch on event takes place on Sunday 23rd November. From noon there will be street entertainers, stilt walkers and fairground rides along St James Street. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be meeting their fans in Charter Walk Shopping Centre at noon, 1pm and 2pm. Santa and his sleigh is also set to make an appearance with help from his friends at Padiham Rotary Club. From 3pm the main stage situated at the Hammerton Street junction of St James Street will host various music artists, and a fireworks display is set to round off proceedings at 6.30pm.

Teaming up with Burnley FC in the Community

Burnley FC in the Community have joined forces with Transdev who operate the Burnley and Pendle bus services to support unemployed young people get into work or further education. Burnley FC in the Community is delivering the Barclays Premier League Works programme at Turf Moor which will involve delivering three 12-week course over the course of the next year.
